Mix the finely chopped onion, parsley, and crushed black pepper well
Add the melted butter
Cut the chickens in half lengthwise
Baste them thoroughly with the mixture from step 1
Season with salt to taste
Place in a preheated oven and baste occasionally with additional butter until the chicken is cooked
Transfer to a warmed platter
Heat the brandy or vodka and pour over each piece
Light on fire and serve flambΓ©
