2 lbs chicken cut into pieces
12 whole black peppers
1/2 cup of fresh parsley
1 onion
3 sprigs of thyme
1/2 teaspoon of salt
to taste
2 cups of milk
5 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups of all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine

In a baking dish, place the chicken pieces, black peppers, parsley, onion, thyme, and 2 teaspoons of salt, with enough water to cover
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is tender
Remove the chicken from the baking dish and let it cool
Bone and skin the chicken
Preheat oven to 400°F (quente), and place the chicken in a greased baking dish
Bake for 10 minutes
Mix the milk with eggs, and gradually add flour, salt, and melted butter
Pour this mixture over the chicken, and bake until golden brown
If desired, serve with a sauce made from chicken broth
Serves 6 to 8 portions.
