Combine the sugar, chocolate, milk, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan
Heat slowly, stirring until the sugar dissolves
Cover and cook until it reaches a boil
Cook without covering or stirring until it reaches a soft-ball stage
Add the vanilla and let cool without stirring
Beat until smooth and matte
Pour into a small square or rectangular mold and mark with squares
After setting, cut into 25 pieces.
