Dough
3 cups of milk powder
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
2 tablespoons of clarified butter
150 ml of plain yogurt
2 teaspoons of ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil for frying
Syrup
6 cups of sugar
10 cups of water
1/2 cup of rosewater with a few drops of yellow or orange food coloring
5 drops of rose essence
1 teaspoon of ground cardamom
Dough

To make the dough:
Mix well the milk powder, all-purpose flour, yeast, cardamom, nutmeg, and clarified butter
Add the yogurt gradually until a smooth dough forms
Shape into small balls about the size of a small apricot
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to fry 10-15 balls at a time until they are golden brown
Drain on paper towels
To make the syrup:
Boil the water with the sugar and rosewater, then let it simmer for 20 minutes
Add the rose essence and cardamom
Let it cool down and place the milk balls in the syrup
Serve warm.
