Rinse the lentils and cook them in salted water for 40 minutes
Drain
Sauté the chopped onion in oil until golden brown
Chop the white part of the green chili pepper and add it to the pan
Sprinkle with curry powder and pour in the red wine
Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes
Add the lentils and let them cook for 5 minutes
Add milk and season with salt, lemon juice, and garlic to taste
Serve immediately.
