1 1/2 kg of manioc
4 tablespoons of lime juice

3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Wash, peel, and cut the manioc into pieces
Bring a pot with water and salt to a boil
Add the manioc, making sure it's fully covered with water
Let it come back to a boil
Reduce heat and cook until the manioc is tender
Drain the manioc and place it in a dish
For the sauce: melt the butter, add the lime juice and garlic
Let it simmer for a few minutes
Pour over the manioc and sprinkle with parsley
Serve hot.
