Place them in a saucepan over low heat
Mash the cheese with a wooden spoon, adding half of the cream, stirring well to achieve a creamy consistency
Season to taste with salt and black pepper
Add the remaining cream, milk, and stir well
Heat until a hot, creamy sauce forms
