2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup of water
2 teaspoons of chicken broth cubes
2 thyme sprigs
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup of white wine
1/4 cup of salted butter, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
salt and pepper

Melt the butter, combine with flour, water, and broth cubes
Cook, stirring until the mixture is smooth
Add thyme and bay leaf
Let simmer for 10 minutes
Boil, then add white wine, salted butter, parsley, and seasonings to taste
Serve hot with grilled fish
Approximately 1 1/4 cups of sauce.
