1 box of strawberries
1 cup (heaping) of pepper fingers without seeds and cut into slices
1 cup (heaping) of sugar
1/2 cup (heaping) of water

Wash and then remove the stems from the strawberries. Reserve
In a saucepan, mix the sugar and water
Bring to low heat and stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves completely
Stop stirring and cook until a syrup forms at a fine thread point
Add the sliced peppers and cook for 10 minutes or until it reaches a gelatinous consistency
Remove from heat and let cool
Dress the strawberries with the pepper sauce and serve immediately.
