Sift the dry ingredients in a bowl (except for the yeast)
Add the thyme and whisk with the milk mixed with the yeast
Knead until a soft dough forms, then let it rest for 1 hour
Shape into a ball and place on a lightly floured baking sheet
Use a sharp knife to make a cross on the surface of the bread and bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for about 40 minutes or until well risen and golden brown
Let cool on a wire rack.
