Place the warm water and yeast in a blender cup
Let it rest for 5 minutes
Blend on high speed for 20 seconds
Add the butter, egg, salt, thyme, and garlic
Blend on high speed for 15 seconds
Add 1 cup of wheat flour, blend on high speed for 20 seconds
Let it rest in the same blender cup for 1 hour
Blend for another 3 minutes
Transfer the dough to a bowl and add the remaining flour
Mix well
Grease an English muffin tin
Shape the dough into a loaf with floured hands and place in the prepared tin
Let it rise for another 1 hour
Brush with beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 40 minutes
Cut into 12 slices.
