Ferment the sugar and water over low heat for 5 minutes, starting from when the mixture begins to boil
Gradually add the hot sugar syrup to the eggs, whisking continuously
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook gently, stirring until it thickens and becomes smooth
Don't let it come to a boil
Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve
Stir the mixture while placing the bowl over crushed ice until it cools
Add the Grand Marnier and finally the whipped cream
In a glass container, place the parfait and refrigerate until serving time.
