Fry the chicken faggot and onion in butter or margarine
Pulse the mixture through a food processor
Heat the brandy until it is reduced to half; add to the chicken faggot
Add the anchovy paste, cheese, and butter or margarine, using a blender to beat well
Refrigerate until firm
Shape into a cylinder
Dust with chopped parsley, so that it is fully covered
Pickle the egg yolks, remove the whites, and strain through a sieve
Finely chop the whites and use to garnish the roll
Serve with salted crackers and let each person make their own canapΓ©.
