Grease a 30x20 cm baking dish
Set aside
In a medium saucepan, mix together the sugar, salt, butter or margarine, and water
Cook until the mixture reaches the hard-ball stage
Add 1/2 cup of peanuts
Pour into the prepared baking dish
Spread to an even thickness of 1/2 cm
Let cool
Melt the chocolate and spread over the cooled treat
Sprinkle with remaining peanuts
Let cool
Break into pieces
