Remove the skin and bones from the chicken breasts
Cut each breast in half
Arrange them in a single layer in a baking dish or roasting pan
Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice
Cover the chicken with onions
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil
Roast in a moderate oven for 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through
Remove the onions from the roasting pan and place the chicken on a platter
Transfer the juices from the roasting pan to the onions
Add the grapes and simmer until they're heated through
