4 large, peeled and grated potatoes (620 g)
2 medium onions, cut into rings
1 cod fillet, skinless (1.8 kg)
2 tablespoons of cream
2 soup spoons of lemon juice
1 soup spoon of mustard
1 soup spoon of chopped thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
Oil for frying

Wash the potato and onion well, then dry them thoroughly
Season the fish with cream, lemon, mustard, thyme, salt, and black pepper
Place in a hot oven (400°F) for 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily
While the fish is cooking, fry the potatoes in hot oil, then fry the onions
Drain on paper towels
Serve the cooked fish on a platter with the potato and onion rings arranged on top
