For the sauce
'48g tomato paste'
'4g cornstarch'

'30ml vinegar'
'15ml soy sauce'
'15g hot ketchup'
'1/2 kg of cod fillets'

For the sauce

'30ml vinegar'

'15g hot ketchup'
Cut the cod into 5cm pieces
Season with salt to taste
Mix the flour with 1/2 teaspoon salt
Beat the egg and mix with cold water and vegetable oil until a creamy consistency is achieved
Achieve a temperature of 5cm from the wall of the pan
Dip the fish pieces into the batter, then fry in hot oil for 5 minutes or until golden brown
Drain on paper towels and keep warm while frying the remaining pieces
Prepare the sauce
Combine all ingredients in a pan and heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly
Serve after 8 minutes
