4 firm pears
2 cups of jaboticaba puree
1/2 cup of sugar
4 firm pears

Peel the pears and cut them in half lengthwise
Remove the seeds
In a saucepan, mix the jaboticaba puree with the sugar
Add the pears and cook over high heat until boiling
Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes
Remove from heat and let cool
Refrigerate and serve chilled
