8 cups of popcorn
1/2 cup of toasted and shelled pecans (packaged or unsalted)
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of Karo syrup
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of corn syrup
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
8 cups of popcorn
1/2 cup of toasted and shelled pecans (packaged or unsalted)
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of Karo syrup
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of corn syrup
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
Mix the popcorn with pecans in a large greased baking dish
Combine sugar, Karo syrup, water, corn syrup, butter or margarine, and vinegar in a medium saucepan
Bring to a medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves
Cook without stirring until mixture reaches soft-ball stage
Remove from heat, add baking soda, and stir quickly
Pour this mixture over popcorn and pecans in the baking dish, and mix well
Spread the popcorn onto a greased surface and break into pieces with two forks
