Preheat the oven to a low temperature (120°C)
Grease a baking dish
Place the popcorn in a microwave-safe bowl and grease it
Keep warm in the oven
Mix the sugar, Karo, and water in a saucepan
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves and comes to a boil
Cover and cook for 2 minutes
Remove the cover and cook, stirring until it reaches the desired consistency
Remove from heat
Add the lime zest, baking soda, and mix well
Pour over the popcorn and stir well to coat
Transfer to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly
Let cool until firm
Break into pieces
Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days
Serve immediately
