1 kg of beef steak or brisket
salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of parsley or other herb of your preference (thyme, oregano, basil)
1 cup of milk
1 large onion cut into fine slices
4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 kilogram of medium potato, cut into strips not too thin
Vegetable oil for frying

Season the beef steak with salt, black pepper, and parsley
Place in a baking dish
Add milk and onion slices
Let it rest for 1 hour
Preheat the moderate oven (180°C), brush the fish with olive oil and bake for 45 minutes
Meanwhile, fry the potatoes in hot vegetable oil
Just before removing the beef from the oven, distribute the potatoes on top of the beef and let it finish baking
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the potatoes with salt
Serve immediately
