1 tablespoon of unsalted gelatin

1/2 cup of hot water
1 egg
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Soak the gelatin in cold water
Gradually melt 1/2 cup of sugar over low heat, then combine with hot water and stir until dissolved
Add the gelatin and mix well
Beat the egg and mix with the remaining sugar, milk, and vanilla extract
Add the mixture to a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for a few minutes
Add the heavy cream and whisk until smooth
Pour into a mold and refrigerate
To serve, unmold and top with melted orange ice cream drizzled with orange juice
