1 1/2 cups of wheat for stuffed pastry
1/2 pound ground beef
1 medium onion
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon Jamaican pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the filling
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons chopped nuts
150g ground beef
To taste: salt and black pepper
A pinch of cinnamon
Oil or olive oil for greasing

Place wheat for stuffed pastry in a bowl
Soak with cold water
Let it rest for 10 minutes
Scoop out excess moisture
Put it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling
Pulse ground beef and onion through a meat grinder, then season with salt and black pepper
Add wheat to the mixture and pulse until just combined
Fry the chopped onion in butter or margarine until translucent
Add chopped nuts and cook until lightly browned
Increase heat and add ground beef, cooking until liquids evaporate and the beef browns
Remove from heat and season with salt, black pepper, and cinnamon to taste
Grease a refractory mold with oil or olive oil
Place half of the pastry mixture in the mold
Top with the filling and then the remaining pastry
Dress with a drizzle of olive oil and serve
