Boil the manioc in water with salt and pass it through a ricer or meat grinder while still hot
Mix the butter well with a wooden spoon
Add the cream and nutmeg
Set aside
Dice the bacon and fry until crispy, then add the onion and fry for another minute
Add the manioc mixture
Add the eggs and finally the egg whites, mixing carefully
Grease a rectangular refractory dish with butter or margarine and pour in the mixture
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for approximately 1 hour
Decorate with crispy bacon, tomato, and optional pepper
Serve with roasted meats
