1 1/2 kg of ribs cut into pieces
3 tablespoons of oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
2 cups of beef broth (prepare with bouillon cubes)
1 cup of thyme, chopped
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups of pork jowl cooked or canned
1 1/2 kg of ribs cut into pieces

Heat the oil in a large pot
Add the onion and garlic
Fry until the onion is translucent
Add the ribs, stirring until they lose their color
Add the beef broth, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours
Add the pork jowl and more broth if needed, and simmer for an additional 30 minutes
Serve with rice and a green salad
Serves 4-6 people.
