Combine and sift the dry ingredients
Mix the egg yolks, milk, and melted butter or margarine; add to the dry ingredients, beating until smooth
Gently fold in the beaten egg whites
Place the batter onto each section of the hot waffle iron
Cook until golden brown
Yield 6 waffles.
