To the salad
750g of beans
1kg of okra
2 bunches of lettuce
2 handfuls of radicchio
For the dressing
1 cup of olive oil
3/4 cup of vinegar
1 1/2 cups of water
1 chopped onion
Salt and white pepper to taste
To serve with
10 bread cubes or cornbread (600g) toasted
To the salad
750g of beans
1kg of okra

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
When boiling, add the beans and cook for about 5 minutes, until tender but still crisp
Remove the beans with a slotted spoon and let cool slightly before cutting into pieces
Clean the okra by removing some of the thicker ends
Use the same pot of water to cook the okra
Cook for 5 minutes, until tender but still crisp
DRAIN
Wash the lettuce and radicchio leaves well and tear them apart
Let them drain
Mix all dressing ingredients together and combine with the beans and okra
Chill in the refrigerator
When serving, place the greens in a bowl
Remove the beans and okra from the dressing with a slotted spoon and place on top of the greens, along with toasted bread cubes
Pour the dressing over and toss gently
Serves 20.
