For fruit salad
1 medium melon
5 bananas
1 small papaya (500g)
6 oranges
4 kiwis
500g grapes
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Bake the butter and all-purpose flour well
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix
Combine the nuts, wheat flour, and salt, and mix well until a homogeneous mass is obtained
Remove 1 tablespoon of the dough and use another spoon to push it onto an ungreased baking sheet
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing the cookies from the baking sheet with a spatula (you can prepare them a day in advance)
Prepare the fruit salad: peel the melon, bananas, papaya, and oranges
Mash 1/3 of the melon (reserve) using a blender or food processor
Cut the fruits into small cubes
Remove the skin from the kiwis and cut into slices
Cut the grapes in half and remove the seeds
All the fruit should be placed in a large bowl, sprinkled with confectioner's sugar, and mixed gently (you can prepare it ahead of time and refrigerate for about 2 hours)
Serve with cookies
Makes approximately 20 servings.
