Remove the bread core
Mix the onion with butter and flour
Apply this mixture to the entire cavity of each sandwich half
Fill the lower half with cheese, anchovies, and remaining ingredients
If the filling is too hard, refine it slightly with the liquid from the capers or anchovies
Close the two sandwich halves and wrap in aluminum foil, refrigerating for later
To serve, cut into thin slices.
