1 can of snap beans
1 medium onion, cut into pieces
2 cups of scalded milk
2 tablespoons of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Mix the snap beans with the onion
Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat
Remove from heat and blend in a blender with the milk
Bring to a simmer again, season with salt and black pepper
Do not let it boil
Serve hot in thermoses every 3 hours.
