Wash the lentils and let them soak overnight in 1 liter of water
Drain
Combine the remaining water, bacon, salt, and onion
Cook under pressure in a pot for 30 minutes
Reduce the pressure
Remove the bacon and also the fat that forms on the surface of the broth
Mix the flour and seasonings
Add some broth and mix well to obtain a paste
Add to the soup and cook for a few more minutes over low heat, until the soup has thickened slightly
Serve 4-6 servings.
