Place the beef in boiling water seasoned with salt, along with the onion, bay leaf, black pepper, and parsley
Cover the pot and cook until the beef is tender
Add more water if needed
Remove the beef and parsley from the broth
Add the macaroni and let it cook until al dente
Add the cut beef and drained mixed vegetables
Check the seasoning and sprinkle with thyme
Serve 4 portions.
