1 Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat
Add the bacon and cook until crispy
Remove the bacon from the pot with a slotted spoon and set aside
Add the onion, manioc, and vegetable broth to the pot
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the manioc is tender
Let it cool slightly before blending in a blender or food processor until smooth
2 Return the pot to medium-high heat
When the mixture comes to a boil again, add the cabbage, flaked beef, and reserved bacon
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
