Blend the pumpkins with the liquid in a blender. Reserve
In a bowl, mix together the sugar, grated lime zest, and freshly squeezed lime juice
Add the milk gradually, stirring until the sugar dissolves
Combine the reserved pumpkins
Distribute into shallow trays and place in the freezer
Remove and stir lightly from time to time
Repeat the process until the mixture becomes almost firm
Top with toasted and chopped pecans and return to the freezer to set
Serve immediately.
