1 kg of pumpkin

1 liter of ice cream base

Place the diced pumpkin and sugar in a pot along with the
ginger
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer
until the liquid has reduced significantly
Remove from heat
and blend until smooth
Add the lemon juice, vodka or cachaça, and lemon zest
Mix well
Combine the mixture with slightly softened ice cream base to achieve a marbled appearance
Serve the creme brulee-flavored ice cream over scoops of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
