2 bricks of vanilla pudding
1/2 cup candied fruits or fruit peels
1/2 cup clear raisins without seeds
1/2 cup toasted and chopped almonds (or use toasted pecans instead)
rum extract to taste

Soften the pudding a bit, then add the candied fruits, raisins, and nuts
Add the rum extract and mix well
Scoop into individual portions
Decorate with candied cherries and freeze until almost firm
The advantage of this dessert is that it can be prepared several days in advance.
