Season the steaks and coat with peppercorns
Mix oil and butter in equal parts
Fry the steaks on both sides until browned to your liking
Remove from the pan
Add whiskey, calculating approximately 1 cup for 4 servings
Let it heat up and ignite
Once the flames die down, add the heavy cream
Stir well
Simmer to reduce the sauce slightly
Serve the sauce over the steaks
Served with mashed potatoes.
