Melt the butter, add the onion and cook slightly
Dry the sardines with paper towels, remove the bones and mash them
Mix in a bowl the sardines with the onion, parsley, and egg yolks
spread on bread slices
Beat the egg whites until stiff and season with salt and pepper
Fold in the grated carrot delicately
Spread also on bread
Put in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 10 minutes
Assemble 6 sandwiches.
