1 cup of caramel
2 tablespoons (or chases) of water
1 drop of food coloring (optional)
1 cup of caramel
2 tablespoons (or chases) of water

Mix all the ingredients well, until the coloring is fully incorporated into the caramel
Fill candy molds with the prepared mixture
Squeeze the molds tightly with your fingertips to prevent air pockets from forming
Wipe off any excess with a spatula
Turn out onto a serving plate and let it sit at room temperature for several hours, until the candies lose their moisture and become dry.
