2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon (or 1/4 teaspoon) of melted butter or margarine
1/4 cup of chopped onion
2 tablespoons of finely chopped bell pepper
3/4 teaspoon of dried parsley
to taste
2 canned tuna, drained and flaked
Prepare the dough according to the basic recipe
Preheat the oven to a hot temperature (220°F)
Beat in a bowl the eggs and combine all the ingredients
Spread the tuna mixture over half of the dough, opened on a refrigerator-safe cake pan with a 20 cm diameter
Cover with the remaining dough and make some cuts on the surface
Close the edges well and give it an undulating finish
To prevent it from getting too dark, cover the edges with a 5 cm wide strip of aluminum foil and remove it 15 minutes before finishing baking
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown
Let it rest for 6 hours.
