1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup (200g) butter, softened
2 tablespoons cold water
1 egg
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 medium onions, chopped
5 carrots, grated fine
2 tablespoons araruta
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
sea salt to taste

In a bowl, mix the flours with butter and cold water, forming a dough
Add the egg and knead until smooth
Roll out the dough and line the bottom and sides of a 25-30 cm diameter cake pan
Poke the dough with a fork and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes
In a skillet, sauté the onion in olive oil
Add the carrots and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly
Remove from heat and season with salt to taste
Fill the cake with this mixture and bake for 15 minutes
In a saucepan, mix araruta with water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened
Add soy sauce and salt, then pour over the cake
Serves 6 people.
