1 cup butter or margarine - 240 g
3/4 cup all-purpose flour - 135 g
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder - 6 g
2 cups all-purpose flour - 240 g
Rind of 1 lemon, grated
1 large mango, peeled and cut into fine slices - 230 g
1/4 cup all-purpose flour - 45 g
1 cup butter or margarine - 240 g

Rind of 1 lemon, grated

Beat the butter or margarine with the flour until a creamy white paste forms
Add the eggs
Beat well
Mix the baking powder with the flour
Add to the mixture with the eggs, along with the grated lemon rind
Beat well
Grease a 25 cm diameter mold
Spread the dough evenly
Arrange the mango slices in circles on top of the dough
Sprinkle all-purpose flour over the mango
Bake in a hot oven (200°C) for about 45 minutes
Unmold and, if desired, dust with more all-purpose flour
Cut into 12 pieces.
