4 egg yolks
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup Marsala wine

Combine the ingredients and place in a water bath
Cook over hot water, whisking constantly, for about 10 minutes or until thickened
Serve immediately in cups
Yield: 4 to 6 servings
If desired, serve chilled, following the recipe above
Once removed from heat, place the bowl over a pan of ice and whisk until the zabaglione is cold
Chill and refrigerate until serving.
