Cut off the chokes from the artichokes and with scissors, cut 1 cm from the tip of the leaves
Cook the peeled onion and garlic in boiling water seasoned with salt
Drain
Blend in a blender, adding alternately olive oil and bread crumbs until you get a thick mixture
Season to taste with salt and black pepper.· Boil the artichokes in salted water until the leaves can be pulled off easily
Remove the center and scrape off the fibrous part, removing it.· Place the filling in the center
Brush each artichoke with a few drops of olive oil
Place in a skillet and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until hot
Serve 6 portions.
