2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cooked rice
2 tomatoes, peeled and seeded, diced
300g Italian sausage, crumbled
150g prosciutto, sliced
4 cups boiling water
3 cups shredded cabbage
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley to taste

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet
Cook the onion and garlic until softened
Add the cooked rice, tomatoes, Italian sausage, and prosciutto
Stir well
Add the boiling water, shredded cabbage, salt, and black pepper
Mix well
Simmer over low heat with the lid partially covering the skillet for 10-15 minutes
Turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes
Use a fork to fluff the rice and transfer it to a serving dish
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
