1 cup (4 oz) of water

300 g of mashed potatoes (available at supermarkets)

Boil the water with the butter
Add the flour gradually, stirring constantly, until it separates from the sides of the pan
Remove from heat, incorporate the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Add the mashed potatoes and season with salt and pepper
Mix well and set aside
Heat the oil and put the dough in spoonfuls into the frying pan
Fry the balls until they are large and golden brown
Serve with soy sauce or tomato sauce.
