Cut the sweet potatoes into sticks and soak them in cold water
Drain the sweet potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels
Fry the sweet potatoes in a pan with vegetable oil, covered with a lid
Wait until they start to brown, then flip them over and continue frying
Remove the sweet potatoes from the oil and let them drain on paper towels
Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
