120g of crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
some drops of pepper sauce
1/2 cup of peeled and finely chopped raisins, or 120g of well-chopped chestnuts (optional)
Preheat the oven to hot temperature (200°C)
In a small bowl, cream together the cheese and butter
Mix in the flour, salt, and pepper sauce until well combined
Scoop out 1/2 tablespoonfuls of the mixture and shape into balls, then flatten them slightly
Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned
To freeze, open-freeze on a baking sheet in the freezer, then seal in an appropriate plastic bag for freezing
To thaw, place directly in the oven to warm through
I made 40 balls.
