1 kg of pork cut into 2 cm cubes
6 onions
two tablespoons of ground cinnamon
3 cups of yogurt
one tablespoon of cardamom seeds
3 tablespoons of coriander seeds
one grated ginger
3 eggs
3/4 cup of butter or margarine
one tablespoon of whole cloves
3 finely chopped beets
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt

Cook slowly, 3 onions cut, yogurt, coriander, ginger, 1/2 cup of butter or margarine, and 1/2 cup of water for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and salt
Stir, cover, and cook slowly for 5 minutes
While this cooks, scramble the eggs, chop the onions and beets together for 15 minutes
Peel the eggs, cut them into fine slices, and chop the onions into thin rings
Remove the pork and place it on skewers, alternating with eggs, onions, and beets
Sprinkle with cumin and place in a skillet with the remaining 1/4 cup of butter or margarine for 10 minutes or until golden brown
If desired, serve the gravy in which the pork was cooked alongside the skewers
