Mix the mocha rice with 1/2 cup of milk
Leave the remaining milk to boil, then reduce heat
Combine the mocha rice, salt, and cornstarch
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture bubbles slowly
Cook for an additional minute at low heat, stirring occasionally until it thickens
Add the mashed pandan and stir well
Add the rose-flavored water
Remove from heat and let cool slightly
Pour into a bowl or individual containers
Chill in the refrigerator and serve garnished with pandan
Yield: 16 servings.
